Featured in this lot we have a Colt Peacekeeper model double action revolver chambered in .357 magnum. This Mark V peacekeeper revolver was manufactured in 1985 by Colt. This revolver displays a 4" long ribbed barrel, six shot cylinder, hard rubber grips, fixed sights, and double action system. The revolver is marked across the left side reading "PEACEKEEPER 357 MAGNUM CTG." with the right side reading "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CONN. U.S.A.". The frame of the revolver is stamped with the rearing horse Colt logo. The hard rubber grips display a checkered design with an inset colt medallion on each side on the top of the grips. Mechanically the revolver displays a crisp double action trigger with a smooth and responsive timing on the cylinder. The revolver shows good condition overall with wear across the piece due to handling and use. It weighs 2lbs 8oz. Serial Number: 49882 V. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
