This lot offers you a Colt Police Positive Special, chambered in .32. The pistol features mother of pearl grips, contrasted by a blue'd finish. The revolver is marked with a bucking Colt logo on the left side of the frame. The barrel of the pistol is marked "Police Positive Special .32 Police CTG.", as well the top of the barrel is stamped "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, CT. U.S.A. Pat'd Aug. 5, 1894 June 5, 1900 July 4, 1905". Swing open the cylinder with the checkered release, and you will expose the serial number. Overall, the revolver shows fair condition, with wear indicative of age. The serial number of the firearm, 78528, attributes the manufacture to the year 1910.
