The pistol features checkered hard rubber COLT factory grips, contrasted by a blue finish. The revolver is marked with three Colt logos, two oval "Colt" trademark logos - one on each grip, and a bucking Colt on the left side of the frame. The barrel of the pistol is marked "Police Positive Special .32-20 W.C.F.", as well the top of the barrel is stamped "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, CT. U.S.A. Pat'd Aug. 5, 1894 June 5, 1900 July 4, 1905". Swing open the cylinder with the checkered release, and you will expose the matching serial numbers: 29983.
