The blade shows etched designs and is marked "C.S.A." twice across both sides. The piece shows a brass "D" guard marked "C S" on the top. The grip displays wood and leather construction with a brass wire wrap. The sheath displays steel construction with brass accents and belt loops. The piece shows good condition overall, with some wear due to age. The sword measures 38 1/4" long, with the blade being 32 3/4" long.
