Connecticut Valley Arms Made in U.S.A. marked half-stock Hawken rifle in .50 caliber with double set triggers and 32” medium heavy antiqued brown octagon barrel. This rifle with serial number 0014998, is fully functional with an excellent rifled bore. It has a buckhorn rear sight adjustable for elevation and a Rocky Mountain blade front sight. It is also fitted with a brass cap box in the stock, brass crescent butt plate and fancy brass trigger guard. Overall, this fine rifle has been antiqued for an authentic frontier appearance. It comes with a powderhorn measuring approx.. 8 inches that is brass mounted with swivels for a strap. Excellent condition. The rifle weighs 7lbs 14oz. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
