The lot features an original photograph cabinet card from R. Dawes of Bozeman, Montana in the 19th Century. This cabinet boudoir card shows an original photograph of two Montana cowboys both wearing full western getup with leather chaps, cowboy hats, scarves, and leather cuffs both holding bull whip riding quirts. At the two cowboy ranchers feet are excellent early 1800’s leather tooled saddles with headstalls, horsehair lariats, saddle bags and other gear. The piece is marked on the back by the R. Dawes Artistic Photography company of Bozeman, Montana. This piece has been professionally framed with Premium Clear Tru Vue glass on an acid free backing.
