The lot features a set of Cree Native American Indian beaded moccasins dating to circa early 1900. The moccasins show an Indian tanned hide construction with fur lined ankle and tongue, embroidered red and yellow edging, and excellent traditional beadwork. The beadwork is done with all early authentic glass trade seed beads and shows greasy yellow, butterscotch, sky padre blue, semi-transparent dark blue, faceted brass, chalk white, red white hearts, and medium blue. The moccasins show overall good condition and display very well. Truly a wonderful early set with the appropriate wear indicative of their early age and evenly worn soles. Measures each 10.5"L x 4.5"W x 3"H.
