Featured in this lot is this Cresap stemmed cluster point aged from the Late Archaic to Woodland period and from 3,500 - 2,500 B.P. The point is a medium triangular stemmed point with an elliptical cross section and shows an excurvate blade with sharp straight shoulders and shows a squared stem, the point was knapped from a off grey flint material. The condition of this point is good with a slight repair to one of the shoulders of the point and shows remnants of a museum tag left to the face of the point but otherwise the point is in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 2 1/2" x 1 1/8" x 1/4".
