The lot features a fine beaded tobacco pouch attributed to the Crow Native American Indian and dating to the 19th Century. The bag shows an Indian brained tanned Great American Bison Buffalo hide and still has the original tie strap attached. The bag has an excellent traditional geometric beadwork in glass trade seed beads in Cheyenne pink, semi-transparent red, sky padre blue, greasy yellow, butterscotch yellow, semi-transparent blue, semi-transparent green, and semi-transparent blue. The beadwork extends on both sides and a fancy beaded top scalloped edge. The bag shows overall very good condition with little bead loss and signs of age and use. Measures overall 12.5‰ÛL x 6.5‰ÛW.
