The lot features a wonderful fully beaded set of moccasins attributed to the Lakota Sioux Native American Indians and dating to the 19th Century. The set shows an Indian brain tanned hide construction with high ankle cuffs and period correct parfleche rawhide soles. The entire top surface of the moccasins show a fantastic traditional geometric beadwork pattern in glass trade seed bead colors of chalk white, medium green, semi-transparent dark blue, red and Cheyenne pink. The moccasins show a trade clothe piping edge and a high ankle cuff back with long tongue. The set shows minor wear from age and use and display very well. Measures 11‰Û L x 4‰ÛW. The
