For your consideration is an Original Signed "Custer's Last Fight" 1952 Budweiser Advertising Print, printer Milwaukee Lith. & Engr. Co., publisher Anheuser Busch Brewing Association and Milwaukee Litho. Co. After Cassilly Adams, Otto F. Becker (1854-1945) created this lithograph for the Anheuser Busch Brewing Company in 1896, copied in paint and later made into lithographic prints as an advertising promotion for Anheuser Busch Brewing Association. The original painting was presented to the Seventh Regiment U.S. Cavalry by Anheuser Busch Brewing Association, St. Louis, Mo. U.S.A. Print shows Custer, standing, saber raised overhead in his right hand and a pistol held by its barrel in his left, in the battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. In addition to Custer, the painting portrays his brother Thomas Ward Custer, Rain In The Face, William W. Cooke, George W. Yates, Henry Armstrong Reed, William Van W. Reily, and Algernon E. Smith. The advertising label on the bottom front is "CUSTER'S LAST FIGHT Presented By Anheuser - Busch, Inc., St. Louis, MO. BUDWEISER King of Beers" with two stalks of grain on either side.
