Laura Robb (1955) creates still life paintings that are beautifully composed and masterfully painted. Her vibrant oils, with their dynamic brushwork, convey an effortlessness that has taken decades of concentrated effort and focus to achieve. The paintings of Laura Robb have a quality that artists covet - expressive strokes and color saturation that place them in a space between being abstract gestures of color and shape and representational studies of beautiful objects and flowers. She has studied under Michael Aviano and Richard Schmid. She since has traveled and painted in France, Spain, Mexico, and Guatemala.
