For your consideration is this Dalton Classic, dart fluted point that is aged from 10,500 - 8,500 B.P. and from the Transitional Paleo period. This point shows a large auriculate point with an elliptical cross section. The blade shows an outward recurvate shape due to a constricted waist or hafting area, which forms auriculate or ears. The blade is serrated and shows lightly ground flutes and hafting area. The construction of this point is from a pink and slightly purple, gem grade chert material. The condition of this Dalton dart point is good with no obvious signs of damage, and it is in good museum quality condition. The measurements of this Dalton Dart point are 4" x 1 1/2".
