Featured in this lot is this limited edition bronze sculpture done by Dave Kulczyk in 1990 titled, "Always Vigilant". This sculpture is a limited edition and is numbered 118 out of 500. Dave Kulczyk is a prominent American bronze sculptor noted for his vivid depictions of Western and Indigenous people. He has created larger commemorative works, including the "Six Pack" sculpture for the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame, which honors the state's iconic rodeo performers. This sculpture depicts the Sheriff kneeled down in the dirt as he holds the reins to his horse and looks towards the ground. The front shows a badge and small banner reading, "The Sheriff / Sheriff / Always Vigilant". The back of the sculpture is marked reading, "© 1990 By Dave Kulczyk / 118-500". It is set on a wood stand and features a metal plaque on the front reading, "Always Vigilant by Dave Kulczyk". It shows good condition overall with no wear or damage present. It measures 4 1/4" L x 18 3/4" W x 12" H and weighs 18 pounds and 10 ounces.
