Available for your bidding pleasure is this Dazey Churn Manufacturing Co Butter Churn. In the early 1900's, E.B. Jones developed a small glass churn for home use. Nathan Dazey purchased Jones' business and relocated it to St. Louis, Missouri as the Dazey Churn and Manufacturing Co. Dazey churns were manufactured up until 1945. Although best known for its butter churns, the company also made can openers, knife sharpeners and other kitchen products. This butter churn displays a metal construction with a metal crank, a wood top and a wooden agitator. This lot also includes a butter shaper. The hand crank operates by threading the crank to the top of the respective jar, and simply crank the hardwood handle to spin the wooden paddles inside. The crank is labeled with "Dazey Churn & Mfg. Co. St. Louis IL". This churn is in very good condition for age and measures 31" tall, 17" deep and 13" wide.
