The Dazey Churn & Manufacturing Company was founded in 1906 by Nathan Dazey in St. Louis, Missouri, after he purchased the small glass churn business from E.B. Jones. Initially known for its hand-cranked glass butter churns, the company expanded its product line to include other kitchen tools like can openers and knife sharpeners, especially as demand for churns declined.
