For your consideration is this deer shed antler lamp with a rawhide and sinew lampshade from the mid / late 20th century. This lamp features seven deer shed antlers set together to form a base for the lamp. Holes have been drilled in the antlers to route the electrical cord from the fixture to the base of the lamp. The lampshade is constructed from rawhide and held together with sinew, a piece of tough fibrous tissue uniting muscle to bone or bone to bone. It has been tested and is in working condition, but needs a new light bulb. The lamp shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. Only damage noted is a tear in the lampshade near the top and one in the middle. It measures 14" L x 14 3/4" W x 24 7/8" H and weighs 5 pounds and 14 ounces.
