For your consideration is this limited edition, fine pewter sculpture titled, "Sweet Talkin's Over" by renowned sculptor Don Polland. This sculpture depicts a frontiersman finishing up being the nice guy with the newly caught horse and starts to take a more hardened approach to get the horse to calm down so he may put his saddle on it. This piece shows fine attention to detail and good craftsmanship. The sculpture features the copyright date and sculptor's signature on the front reading, "© Polland '96", while to the left of that it is stamped reading, "283/1,500" showing that it is part of a limited edition series. The top of the solid wood base features a second signature reading, "Polland '97". On the bottom it has the title, the sculptor's signature, the copyright date "1996" and the presenter "Chilmark Fine Pewter U.S.A.". Overall the piece is in good condition with no signs of damage or wear. It measures 6 1/4" L x 5" W x 4 1/2" H.
