Featured in this lot is this framed drawing on rawhide titled, "Yukon Fish Camp" and is signed M.M., from the 20th century. This drawing has been done on a piece of rawhide and shows a First Nations woman and boy sitting in their Fish Camp in the Yukon territory. The scene shows the woman preparing fish as others lay next to her next in line for prep. On the line next to her hang the prepared fish. The boy, who sits behind her, is saw logs, making another hanging line. The piece is marked along the bottom reading, "Yukon / Fish Camp / M.M.". The signature "M.M." has not been identified. It is placed on a light red / pink board and is set in a gold frame, sitting behind glass. The artwork measures 6 1/8" L x 12" W, while the entire piece measures 11" L x 16 1/8" W x 3/4" D. It has a total weight of 1 pound and 12 ounces.
