For your consideration is this beautiful, Dueber Watch Company Anchor grade, model 2 pocket watch from the 1890s to early 1900s. The Hampden Watch Company, founded as the Mozart Watch Company in 1866, evolved through various iterations, including the New York Watch Company, before settling as the Hampden Watch Company in 1877, ultimately merging with a watch case manufacturer to become Dueber-Hampden Watch Co. in 1923, failing in 1927. This pocket watch is the Anchor grade, model 2, size 18s and features 17 jewels, a hunting movement with a nickel finish, a lever movement setting, full plate and is railroad graded. It is set in a Dueber watch case from the Dueber Watch Case Company from the 1880s and is made from coin silver. The watch is marked on the movement reading, "The Dueber Watch Co. / Patent Pinion / Canton, Ohio" and also gives the serial number "675474". The watch case features two serial numbers and is marked reading, "Dueber Coin / 362797 / 562797". It comes with a small plastic stand for the watch to sit on. It shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage noted. It is in working order and can be wound. It measures 2 7/8" L x 2 1/4" W x 3/4" D and weighs 146.1 grams.
