Featured in this lot is a bronze sculpture of a Russian Cossack and a woman by Austrian artist, E. Nahcepe. The bronze sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction on a marble base. The bronze features a depiction of a Russian Cossack and a woman climbing up on the horse from the stirrup. The bronze is marked as follows: F. Chenin - E. Nahcepe. E. Nahcepe is an Austrian Impressionist & Modern artist who was born in the Late 19th Century. E. Nahcepe's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 289 USD to 10,418 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2012, the record price for this artist at auction is 10,418 USD for Cossack figured on horseback. The piece sold at A.H. Wilkens Auctions & Appraisals in Toronto, Canada in 2023. The overall condition of this bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this bronze sculpture are 15 1/2" x 15 1/4" x 6 3/4".*
