Featured in this lot are two (2) fly rods from Eagle Claw Wright and McGill. Created by Drew McGill and Stan Wright back in the 1920’s, this original brand was known for tying high-grade fishing flies in Denver, Colorado. Over 90 years later Wright & McGill is still creating high-grade fishing equipment. The first rod is a four piece, 7 1/2' long rod that takes size 7 line and was first produced in the 1960s. The handle features the Eagle Claw logo on a metal piece reading "Eagle Claw, A Product of Wright & McGill Co.". The four piece set comes with the original aluminum case. The second fly rod is a six piece "Eagle Claw Trailmaster" that measures 6' 9", and is a spin/fly combination. This rod was released first in 1968. The handle is missing the metal logo emblem. The first section of the fly rod features the serial number, the makers, and the length of the rod. This rod comes with its original cloth carry case. Both are in good working condition, with wear consistent with their age. The aluminum case measures 24" with a circumference of 6 1/4".
