Featured in this lot is a rare 1916 first edition of "The Story of Montana" by Kate Hammond Fogarty, published by The A.S. Barnes Company. The writing of "The Story of Montana" was done while Kate Hammond Fogarty was on staff at the Butte Public Library, to meet the need for a school textbook. The book is bound in green cloth with the seal of Montana on the cover and measures 7 1/4 " L x 4 3/4 " W x 3/4" D. Front cover slightly loose but interior pages and binding in good condition.
