For your consideration i this lot we have a set of Seminole and Chippewa woven wood fiber dolls originating from the early and late 1900's. The first piece is a Seminole Native American wrapped doll made of tightly wrapped corn husks made in 1930's to 1940's. The doll is shown in soft leather dress with some beadwork and red and black yarn hair and clothing. The piece comes with a hand written tag with information on the piece. The second piece is a joined pair of Chippewa Native American Indian dolls of a man and woman made of wooden fibers and made in 1987. The dolls show simple wood fiber construction with beaded faces and dyed fiber hair, belts, and head bands. The female shows a necklace of pink and red beads. The dolls are joined at the hip with a cord wrapped around both waists. The dolls show a "Fort Mille Laces Village" tag and an information tag on the belts. The set shows good condition overall with little to no wear. The first piece measures 8" tall by 4" wide with the second piece measuring 12" tall by 4 1/4" wide.
