Available in this lot is a collection of stoneware ceramic pottery jars originating from the early 1900's. The collection consists of four stoneware pottery jars and a salt glazed jar. The ceramic jars show good construction and a glazed exterior. The front of the first stoneware crock is marked across the front "Ex-Cel-So Trade Mark U.S.A." in blue lettering. The second is marked “Lambrecht's Butter, ‘Famous for its Flavor’, Milwaukee- Chicago". The last two are unmarked. The jars show a lip across the interior of the crock. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the piece. The dark brown salt glazed whiskey jar displays thick pottery construction with a carry loop across the top. The top of the jar shows a short round throat with a cork stopper. The largest pottery crock measures 11 1/4" tall by 7" in diameter, with the smallest measuring 6 3/4" in diameter by 2 1/2" tall.
