Included in this lot we have a Village Blacksmith long handled pruning knife originating from the early 1900's. The Village Blacksmith was a knife and cutlery manufacturing company located in Watertown, Wisconsin. The piece displays a curved thick single edged blade with long wooden handle. The blade shows a thick design that widens towards the end with a rounded tip and hanging loop. The blade is marked "Village Blacksmith Watertown, WIS". The piece shows a hardwood handle set with three pins and a lanyard loop at the end. The piece shows fair condition with some rust and wear on the blade and a large crack running the length of the grip and secured by twine. The piece measures 23" long with the blade measuring 9 1/4" long.
