Featured in this lot is a pair of Early Apache Indian Tanned Hide Pants, c mid-late 1800's. The pants are made of brain tanned hide and long hand cut fringe. The pants (or chaps) are sinew and partially trade cotton sewn. They also have buttons around the waist and in front. These pants are in good overall condition (wear showing) and measure 41" long, 15" across at the waist.
