For your consideration is this cast iron Red Jacket outdoor water pump circa early 1900's. This is a good outdoor suction lever pump with manufactured pieces with a 'U21' and 'U22' mark on the pieces. Suction and lift are important considerations when pumping fluids. Suction is the vertical distance between the fluid to be pumped and the center of the pump, while lift is the vertical distance between the pump and the delivery point. The condition of this pump is fair the pump plunder missing and there is some wear to the outside of the pump construction. The measurements of this water pump are 54 1/2" x 14" x 11".
