The lot features an original blacksmith hand forged antique Bear Trap from the fur trade era of the 19th Century. This 1800's trap shows a large size with double strip and round 2.5 inch seat. The trap also shows blacksmith forged heavy chain links with a heavy solid iron drag. The piece shows signs of being hand forged and is truly in good condition for its early rare age.
