For your consideration are an early set of leather shotgun chaps thought to be from a Montana saddlery dating to the 19th Century. The chaps are done in the exact stylings and pattern of the famous set made by by R.W. Neill of Montana Territory. The chaps show a basket weave design along the waist as well as two front pockets on either leg. Fringe runs along the back of the chaps as well. The chaps are in a shotgun pattern and show various early solid brass tacks. They measure 39" long and the waist measures 41".
