The lot features an antique set of Russian Red Vaseline trade bead strand with HB Montreal marked silver cross. The cross is marked with HB on both horizontal arms and at the bottom MONTREAL as well as a crown and walking lion with a crown and crown above, marks sometimes referring to sterling silver. At the center of the cross is one of the Russian Vaseline Glass trade beads. The cross is a contemporary reproduced example. The trade beads appear to be early examples and display well. The condition of this necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The Russian trade beads have an early antique age. The overall measurements of this necklace 21 1/2" x 4 1/4".
