For your consideration is a set of three Early US Department of Interior Signs C. 1930. The first of the metal yellow signs indicates "Center Stock Driveway" "Form DG-39" and shows the US Department of The Interior Division of Grazing" emblem. This sign measures approximately 7" x 10" and shows some flaking and rust towards the corner edges where the hanging holes are located. These metal sign as shown are likely 1930s-40s era. This would have been used in the Early 1900s when cowboys still drove cattle over peoples land. Originally used to delineate roadways used to get stock to feeding grounds in the backcountry. The second and third metal yellow signs are authentic vintage metal signs for the prevention of range fires during cattle drives. This is a metal sign that was put out by the Department Of The Interior Division Of Grazing during the Roosevelt administration when Harold Ickes was the Secretary Of The Interior. Each have the great Buffalo in the shield logo on the top. This one is A Warning about Preventing Range Fires. It is marked "Form DG-43" in the lower left corner. It measures 12" X 8" and have some rust and flaking on the yellow paint, overall in good condition given their age.
