The rug, hand woven in the early 1900's by a native of the Aztec region in Mexico, features a brilliantly colored weave with traditional Aztec patterns and a figure woven into the middle. The colors are greens, whites, purple, reds, blues, and many others. The rug is in good condition, with some wear.
