Available in this lot is an original, framed, Edward Borein pen and ink sketch. Edward Borein (1873-1945) was an American artist known for his etchings and paintings. Borein was a California artist with his art depicting the Spanish Colonial California, The Old West, and Mexico. This sketch features two figures discussing over a saddled mule with a group of eight onlookers. The crowd is depicted sitting or leaning against the sides of buildings. The piece shows a distinctive art style with the piece showing the pencil rough sketch marks. The bottom of the piece is marked "Edward Borein 1873-1945". The piece is set into a custom frame with an off-white border around the art. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 20 1/4" wide by 15 1/2" tall with the art measuring 13 1/4" wide by 9" tall.
