Featured in this lot is this Edward S. Curtis, Plate 98 Waibusiwa, A Zuni Kyaqimassi, 1903. The artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted lithograph construction that shows a Zuni woman wrapped in a trade blanket and is marked in the bottom left hand corner as follows: Waihusiwa, A Zuni Kyaqimassi. Edward Sheriff Curtis was an American photographer and ethnologist whose work focused on the American West and on Native American people born in 18686 and died in 1952. His work can be seen collected all over the world with the original copies of this lithograph of a photogravure on Japanese gampi tissue mounted to Holland Van Gelder for $2,250.00. The condition of this framed lithograph is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed lithograph is 28 1/8" x 21 3/8" and the visible artwork measures 17 1/8" x 12 3/4".
