Offered in this lot are El Paso Saddleblanket Company Western-Themed Placemats (11), circa 1970s to 1990s. The placemats feature a stepped terrace centre medallion in colours of blue, black and brown, with upper and lower stepped geometric designs also in colours ofblue, black and brown. The placemats have knotted fringe on the ends. The El Paso Saddleblanket Company, established in 1970 by Dusty and Bonnie Henson as a traveling trading post on Route 66, is a legendary supplier of authentic, heavy hand-woven Southwestern textiles, camp blankets, and saddle blankets, as well as western-themed rustic decor. Their pieces are famous for their tight weave, vibrant geometric patterns, and exceptional durability. Vintage wool and acrylic-blend blankets function beautifully as rustic throw rugs, wall hangings, or vehicle seat covers. The pieces are in very nice condition, colours are vibrant. Measurements from fringe to fringe: placemats are each 13.25"W x 24"L approximately, collective weight is 2lb, 10oz.
