Featured in this lot are five English Silver collecting books from various authors circa 1969 to 1983. These books give comprehensive lists, write ups, markings, line drawings and illustrations throughout to help identify silver pieces. The books collectively feature over 550 colored and black & white illustrations. The books in this collection are as follows - "English Silver" by Judith Banister (1969), "Silver for Pleasure and Investment" by Geoffrey Wills (1969), "Letts Collector's Guides English Silver Spoons" by Michael Snodin (1982), "Phaidon Guide To Silver" by Margaret Holland (1983) and "Silver: An Illustrated Guide to Collecting Silver" by Margaret Holland (1983). The books all feature dust jackets that show good condition overall. The books and interior pages show good condition overall showing some wear present from their age and use over the years but no signs of obvious damage is noted. The books measure form 11 1/4" L x 8 5/16" W x 5/8" D to 7 5/8" L x 5 3/8" W x 11/16" D. They have a collective weight of 6 pounds and 2 ounces.
