Presented in this lot are three (3) Vintage Hand-made Eskimo Inuit Doll Leather Natural Fur Coats, crafted and signed by Wilma Andrew, circa mid to late 20th century. Fox and snowshoe hare furs on bleached tanned hides. Traditional Inuit hoods with large ruff of irregular fur is the most efficient system for preventing heat transfer from the face in the cold, windy environment of the Arctic. Very authentic appearance approximating adult and youth coat types. Each coat is in very fine condition, no obvious marring noted. Coats are 8"L each.
