For your consideration is this 19th-20th Century, etched, painted and ebonized frame mirror in the style of Noel Hache. This mirror shows a beveled, three level design with the two outside beveled areas showing intricately etched designs in the wood. The etched designs are complemented by black paint or lacquering, giving depth to the floral designs. The interior frame is ebonized showing a black color. Ebonized means stained black to imitate ebony and is a technique used to darken wood and make it look like expensive ebony wood. The piece shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and small, noticeable cracks present. No major signs of damage is noted.
