Ltd., founded in 1872 in Alnwick, England, is known for making some of the world's best fishing tackle, including fishing creels. While Hardy is best known for their precision-engineered reels and rods, they also make stunning wicker creels. These creels, like other Hardy items, were made to the highest standards, demonstrating the company's reputation for quality and innovation in angling gear. This creel features a reverse open top lid with the fish hole on the right side of the creel. The front features a woven net for storing various smaller items. Leather pieces accent the creel and it features two shoulder straps on the back for carrying like a backpack. Both shoulder straps appear to be broken. The creel features a metal badge on the back reading, "Hardy Bros LTD Makers / Alnwick, Eng.".
