The lot features an exceptional gilded cast iron table lamp with a fantastic a Victorian design and original P&A Mfg Co. cut and etched kerosene lamp. The circa 19th Century lamp includes the cast iron base, pressed or cut fancy glass kerosene reservoir, brass P&A MFG Co. marked lamp section, glass chimney and unique milk glass or white original shade. The base shows unbelievable detail with a religious cross and shield like design at the lower portion that is framed by a flowing paisley design. The top section of the base where the glass reservoir would sit shows a filigree cutout pattern allowing the viewer to see the wonderful detail on the glass portion. The piece measures overall 17.5"H x 8" diameter.
