Featured in this lot is this Exmoor Cast Faux Red Deer stag antlers with shield circa 1940's. The deer mount features a wonderfully and professionally crafted cast faux antlers from a Exmoor National Park casting and is displayed on a painted hardwood shield with Black Forest decoration with acorns and floral decoration with a life like skull cap shown present. The condition of this mount is preserved with some wear to the faux antlers and to the wooden shield it is displayed on but otherwise is in preserved condition. The measurements of this mount is 35" x 35 1/8" x 14 3/4". The collective weight of this mount is 6lb 6oz.
Provenance: From a prominent ex-Bozeman private collection who purchased the majority of his collection from Cowan's, Skinner, Bonhams, Morphy's, Sotheby's, March in Montana, North American Auction and other well revered auction houses.
