Featured in this lot is this F.E. Gleason 14k gold B&B Royal Watch and U.S.C.E. compass. There is a watch and compass in this colleciton with the Gleason time piece showing a floral decoration to the outside and reads as follows: 6149939 - Warranted B&B Royal 20Years - F.E. Gleason Austin Minn. The compass shows a standard design with a brass outside frame with a U.S.C.E. inscription on the outside. The condition of this pocket watch shows broken face glass with some wear to the 14k gold with the winding action working and telling time correctly with the compass showing some patina to the brass but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of this watch is 2" x 7/8" and 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" for the compass. The collective weight of this watch and compass is 83.4g. Provenance: From a prominent ex-Bozeman private collection who purchased the majority of his collection from Cowan's, Skinner, Bonhams, Morphy's, Sotheby's, March in Montana, North American Auction and other well revered auction houses.
