Featured in this lot we have a F.I.E.Model E27C Titan semi automatic pocket pistol chambered in .25 caliber. This pistol was manufactured for Allen Bernkrant, the former President of Southern Gun & Tackle and comes from the collection of Jim Supica. Allen Bernkrant was an avid collector of firearms and particularly enjoyed collection the serial number 1 models from manufacturers. Due to his connections and love of serial number 1 guns, some manufacturers made first models for Bernkrant marked with his initials. This pistol displays an "AB1" serial number, indication it was made for Bernkrant and comes with a letter of provenance from Jim Supica. The pistol displays a 2 1/2" long barrel, cream colored checkered plastic grips, 6 shot magazine, solid trigger, and slide action. The left side of the frame is marked with " CAL. 25" with the right side of the frame marked "F.I.E. CORP. -MIAMI. FLA.". The exterior of the pistol shows a chrome finish across the frame, barrel, and slide. The pistol comes with its original factory box and manual/ information letter. The box is marked across the exterior with the Titan logo. Mechanically the pistol shows working condition with a smooth slide and operational trigger. The pistol shows good condition overall with minor wear across the piece due to use. The pistol and box weigh 12oz. Serial Number: AB1. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
