Featured in this lot is a limited edition, fine pewter sculpture titled, "Cool Waters" by sculptor Francis J. Barnum. This sculpture depicts a young Native American girl on the bank of a waterfall with a feather in her hair and pottery by her side. On the back of the sculpture it features the title, "Cool Waters" and the sculptor's signature, "© 1887 F.J. Barnum". On the back as well, it is numbered "283/2,500" showing that it is a limited edition piece. On the bottom of the solid wood base, it shows the title, the sculptor's signature. the copy right date, "1987" and the presenter "Chilmark Fine Pewter U.S.A.". This sculpture was crafted with an extensive attention to detail. Overall this piece is in good condition with no signs of damage or wear. It measures 6 1/4" L x 5" W x 8 1/4" H.
