The lot features three original Frank J. Haynes Yellowstone National Park photographs of Grotto Geyser, N.P. Trout Creek, and Two Fawns circa early 1900’s. These are all large format photographs in Yellowstone National Park and are all three stamped on the back. The first is stamped on the back “© 34190 Grotto Geyser, Yellowstone Park © Haynes Inc” and shows a beautiful black and white photograph of the rock formation with splashing water and steam of the geyser and shows the correct © mark lower right. The second is stamped “© N.P. Trout Creek Trade Mark Y.N.P. (Y. N. P.) © Haynes Inc.” and shows a great black and white image of the swirling Trout Creek and the © lower right. Lastly is the photograph stamped “© 24270 Two Fawns, Yellowstone Park, © Haynes Inc.” and shows two fawns with spotted backs and nestling necks with each being correctly marked both right with the ©. All three are in good condition and measure 10” by 8”. Similar Haynes photographs with the same era stamping and size have sold for $300 apiece, with this lot containing three photographs.
