For your consideration is this Frederic Remington chromolithograph titled "A Cavalry Officer," from the Buckskin portfolio that was published by Robert Howard Russell in 1901. Frederic Sackrider Remington (October 4, 1861 – December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor and writer who specialized in depictions of the American Old West. The chromolithograph shows cavalry man riding at a gallop and scanning his surroundings. The condition of this framed chromolithograph is good and shows great preservation to its quarter sawn oak frame. The measurements of this 29" x 22 1/2" and the visible art measures 19 1/2" x 14 1/2".
