This is a scarcely seen Color Change Sapphire being a natural unheated example set in platinum with natural diamonds with GIA and AIGL paperwork. The platinum ring shows a double halo bezel and shoulder being beautifully natural diamond set holding at the heart of the ring a natural unheated sapphire. The sapphire, otherwise known as a natural corundum, in this ring comes with a GIA Sapphire Report which confirms it as being a natural stone that is untreated / unheated and is a rare color change example, a change of color from Violetish Blue to Purple (Violet Blue to Purple). The sapphire is 1.50 carats in an octagonal step cut with nice fine clarity set with 52 round brilliant natural diamonds having a weight of 0.60 carats and VS1 to SI1 high clarity. This comes with an AIGL (American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc., a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K31E67-EA14004) gemology report and appraisal which confirming the information and gives a value of $9,411.00. Also comes with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Sapphire Report GIA report #: 2201642749. Total weight of 5.4 grams. Size of 7 ½.
