Featured in this lot we have a Fabrique Nationale D'Armes Browning Auto 5 semi automatic shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. The shotgun was manufactured between 1902 to 1998 by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium using Brownings design. The Auto 5 was the first mass produced semi auto shotgun and was used in five large wars including both World Wars, and the Vietnam War. The shotgun displays 31" long round barrel, walnut stock and front grip, under barrel tube magazine, and Semi-Automatic action. The shotgun was manufactured in Belgium and features numerous proof and inspection marks across the piece. The left side of the barrel is marked "Browning Arms Company Ogen Utah Browning's Patent Full 12 Special Steel" with the right side of the barrel marked "Made In Belgium". The frame is marked on the left side reading "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique Brownings Patent Depose". Mechanically the shotgun displays a working action a crisp trigger system. The shotgun shows good condition overall with some wear due to age and handling and one of the stock screws loose. Serial Number: 129367. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
