The lot features this beautiful large Navajo Weaving with Klagetoh pattern by master weaver Betty Littleben from the 20th Century. This example has a nice tight weave showing handspun yarn with aniline dyes. This piece is from the Toh-Atin Trading Post gallery, first established in 1957, where it was found to be an authentic example with a price of nearly $2,500 years ago. The piece comes with the Toh-Atin trading post tag marked accordingly and a photograph of the rug itself. The rug shows a nice tight weave with soft wool having a nice red background with stepped diamond center and stepped stair border having overall colors of Ganado red, cream / white, black, brown, and grey. The rug is in pristine museum quality condition. Measures overall 51” by 35”.
